Facebook Pixel with GTM

Facebook (Meta) Pixel setup via Google Tag Manager centralises your Meta tracking in the same tag management system as all your other analytics and advertising tags, giving you full control over when and how Pixel events fire without modifying website code for every change. The GTM approach enables important capabilities that direct Pixel implementation cannot provide: consent mode wrapping so the Pixel only fires after users accept marketing cookies (essential for GDPR), event_id deduplication for Conversions API (CAPI) to prevent double-counting, and custom event parameters that go beyond Meta's standard event set to feed more granular audience segmentation. Our Meta Pixel with GTM service implements the complete Pixel configuration for your business type. For ecommerce, we configure the full standard event set: PageView on all pages, ViewContent on product pages with content_id and content_type, AddToCart with item details, InitiateCheckout with basket data, and Purchase on the order confirmation page with accurate value, currency, and content_ids. For each event, we configure the event_id parameter using a transaction ID — essential for deduplication if CAPI is added now or later. For lead generation sites, we implement the Lead event on form submission. All tags are wrapped in a consent mode check that prevents firing until the user accepts marketing cookies. Every event is verified in Meta's Events Manager diagnostics and Pixel Helper extension before handover.
